Add Color, Not Restriction
Today's Reflection: What colors are missing from your plate?
One of my favorite approaches to nutrition isn't about cutting anything out — it's about adding in. It's called eating the rainbow, and it's one of the simplest, most effective ways to increase the nutrient density of your diet without overhauling your entire life overnight.
Here's a quick taste of what each color brings to the table:
- Red (strawberries, red peppers, tomatoes) — anti-inflammatory antioxidants
- Orange (carrots, sweet potatoes) — supports hormone health
- Yellow (pineapple, ginger, lemon) — supports digestion and mood
- Green (leafy greens) — supports circulation and detox pathways
- Blue & purple (blueberries, purple potatoes) — support brain health and memory

You don't need to change your entire approach to eating in one day. Adding just one new colorful food this week can move the needle — that's the whole philosophy behind intuitive, sustainable nourishment.

I created the perfect starter kit to living a healthier, more vibrant life. My ebook, Wildly Abundant: Simple Shifts to Nourish Holistically and Live Vibrantly covers the full picture of what we talk about here: integrative nutrition, eating the rainbow (in much more depth than I can fit in one email), intuitive and mindful eating, and understanding autoimmune disease and inflammation.
It's the same gentle, whole-person approach I live by — no diet culture, no restriction, just simple shifts that actually stick.
